Elephant Robotics, a technology firm located in Shenzhen China and recognized on Forbes’ 30 under 30 Asia list, recently debuted the world’s first bionic robotic pet cat -- the MarsCat.
The MarsCat is an interactive and autonomous pet. It's able to walk, run, stretch, knead, play with toys, and even bite its nails while moving freely and avoiding obstacles. In addition, this unique feline friend also boasts voice recognition and voice control. It's able to react to 20 keywords including sit, come here, quiet, and words of praise, however, each MarsCat is unique and programed differently to create a bespoke personality. Its personality can be random or set and adapts based on its interactions with people.
