The announcement of the new Mario Maker game was a big one made by Nintendo at the E3 2014 conference yesterday. Inspired by the classic 2D Mario platformer, Mario Maker will let gamers create their own levels, right down to the placement of pipes, power-ups and enemies that will need to be dodged. Another interesting feature of the game is that it will allow players to switch between an 8-bit graphic mode and the HD New Super Mario Bros. graphics.
If something in your custom level isn't quite working the way it should, or it's just too challenging, it's easy to go back and edit a level. Nintendo's Mario Maker will be launched for the Wii U in the first half of 2015.
