The Lassus Residence by Schlesinger Associates Architects features sophisticated marble interior design elements and a couple of clever design tricks to make the 2,000 square foot space seem much bigger that it really is. One of the main ways the architects created this illusion was to bring in as much natural light as possible, so that it could be bounced off of the crisp white walls of the interior. The space also takes care to emphasize open spaces and towering volumes, as seen throughout the interior with massive black marble columns.
Marble elements can be found on everything from the stairs to the stove range, and although these pieces form the backdrop of the interior, they're also some of the most luxurious focal points of the space.
