The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s Emirates Palace has officially opened two brand new vegan-friendly guest rooms in its Abu Dhabi location. The luxurious new rooms have been designed to appeal to eco-conscious guests and, therefore, features a variety of vegan elements.
For example, the rooms come equipped exclusively with vegan linens, which include feather-free duvets and pillows. In addition, there is a complete absence of leather and silk throughout the room, both of which are commonly used materials in luxury hotels. What's more, the suits' bathrooms come with vegan toiletries, while its built-in mini-fridge only offers products that are entirely animal-free.
"Supermarkets are well-stocked with plant-based products, international airlines offer vegan meal options, and even luxury car brands are debuting leather-free interiors. Veganism is omnipresent in our daily life and continues to drive societal changes. So why not offer a vegan luxury hotel experience?" explained Emirates Palace’s general manager Michael Koth,
