Internet Suicides

Man Takes His Life While Chatting on Webcam

The web is changing the way a lot of things happen, even suicide.

Kevin Whitrick, an English man, committed suicide while in an Internet chat room with other people. His body was found dead and hanged by the police Wednesday after one of his chat mates called the police to report that the 42 year old harmed himself while letting other chat user watch via webcam. According to the wife of Whitrick, who had 12-year-old twins, had a serious car accident last year and never returned to full health.

This is really depressing. Lets hope we don't see too many copycats.
