Christian Louboutin's Maleficent Shoes Are Wickedly Stylish

There have been several Maleficent-inspired looks and clothing collections for women, teens and kids designed in response to this year's movie starring Angelina Jolie, but the 'Malangeli' Maleficent shoes are the only item to be worn by the actress herself.

The Malangeli heels were first designed by Christian Louboutin as a bespoke piece for Angelina as she promoted her new movie, including one black pair and another striking one of the same design in gold. The heels definitely have a dark twist to them, as seen by a twisted tendril that snakes up the back of the heel. Now, the hand-made Louboutin shoes will be available to anyone and made-to-order through Louboutin’s Parisian atelier for $1,600, with proceeds from sales going towards SOS Children’s Villages, a charity that Angelina personally supports.
