McDonald's South Korea recently added macaron delivery to its growing McDelivery service. While many fast food chains are still experimenting with basic deliveries, McDonald's is quickly expanding its delivery options for customers in South Korea.
As part of the company's McDelivery service, South Korean customers will now be able to have macarons delivered straight to their doorstep. The macarons are prepared in France by Chateau Blanc and they come in four sweet flavors: Chocolate, Vanilla, Raspberry and Caramel. In addition to the delicate French pastries, customers can also order coffee-based beverages such as espressos and cappuccinos or churros with a side of chocolate dipping sauce.
The addition of macaron delivery to the McDelivery service demonstrates how McDonald's can capture consumers who might not otherwise choose the chain for a mid-day coffee break.
