Utilitarian Luxury Streetwear Lines

Heron Preston's Fall/Winter 2019 is an Instant Hit in Paris

The Fall/Winter 2019 collection of luxury streetwear was exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, France.

The range presents a youthful attitude that is injected with a militant aesthetic through utilitarian-forward silhouettes. The capsule is aptly titled 'Nightshift' and it is largely informed from "Preston’s frequent travels" and his odd "fascination with TSA agents and security guards." This inspiration can be observed in subtle references in the design of the clothing that instills a level of functionality, practicality, and durability.

To complete the presentation of his Fall/Winter 2019 luxury streetwear debut, the event boasted security measures in the form of X-Ray baggage scanners, metal detectors, as well as K9 dogs who were "accompanied by heavily loaded guards at the space's entrance." It was all part of an act.
