The Lunecase is a battery-less wireless iPhone case that not only interacts with your iPhone and displays notifications, but powers itself using the electromagnetic radiation emitted by your phone. It is built by Ukraine-based company Concepter.
The Lunecase is a thin, durable case that snaps onto the iPhone 5 series of smartphones. The case wirelessly connects to the phone and detects incoming text messages and phone calls, displaying LED notifications on the back of the phone to tell you what kind of communication has come in.
The Lunecase uses induction technology, which in recent years has been used to create battery-charging and device-powering solutions. What's unique about the Lunecase however is the fact that it derives its power from very limited amounts of electricity, because modern smartphones don't emit as much radiation as old ones.
