Lumene has debuted its newest skincare product, the ‘Nordic Hydra Birch Dew Jelly.’ The cosmetics company used Eastman's ‘Cristal One E Renew,’ a recyclable resin with molecularly recycled material for extrusion blow molding, for the product packaging (EBM). Lumene developed the initial ‘Crystal One E Renew’ packaging with German plastic company Rebhan.
Lumene and Rebhan used ‘Cristal One E Renew’ to enhance the ‘Nordic Hydra Birch Dew Jelly's’ smartly designed bottles' environmental sustainability profile. These bottles have a vivid blue gradient coloring that makes them highly appealing when on the shelf.
"Lumene’s ambition is to have 80% of its packaging made of recycled or recyclable materials by the end of 2025. When developing this two-in-one hydrating skincare product, we were looking for a [environmentally] sustainable packaging option that would not compromise on the product presentation," commented Julia Vlasova, global senior brand manager at Lumene.
