Crate & Barrel has revealed that it signed an exclusive partnership with the Lucia Eames estate, which represents the multi-disciplinary artist whose works included calligraphy, paper collages, and sculptures.
The partnership takes the form of a new home decor collection, which draws design inspiration from the artist's vibrant aesthetic sensibilities. Because of this, the collection features fabrics and designs that honor Eames's love of nature. It also draws directly from her archived works, which serves to add a deeper level of authenticity to each piece.
"Translating her original work and optimistic free spirit into a modern collection for new generations is a special and significant moment for American design and culture – and undoubtedly will delight people around the world, helping spark joyful moments at home," said Sebastian Brauer, Senior Vice President of Product Design, Global Head of Metaverse.
