This incredible Lord of the Rings LEGO set reconstructs the massive kingdom of Erebor from Middle Earth.
The LEGO kingdom was constructed by 17-year-old Blake Baer and 18-year-old Jack Bittner with nearly 80,000 pieces of the building block toys. As you might expect, making this massive LOTR LEGO sculpture took quite a bit of time — about 400 hours worth. The finishing of this gigantic sculpture is quite timely, considering there's just days to go before the release of the second instalment of the second part of 'The Hobbit' films.
The LEGO version of the Lonely Mountain of Erebor constructed by Baer and Bittner is packed with colorful details of life before it was taken over by Smaug. The scenes within the LEGO Erebor are amazing and if you look close enough, you might even be able to spot one of the main characters from The Hobbit.
