Photographer Simon Proctor captures fashion in its element for 'Long Live Couture' in V magazine. The editorial is shot almost as if it were still on the runway (or behind the scenes) and highlights the most desirable and luxurious of all fashions, haute couture.
'Long Live Couture' can be seen in V's 65th issue and is an ode to an institution that is seen by many as in trouble. The Parisian haute couture collections are without a doubt the most fanciful and elaborate examples of design and craftsmanship and although we could never afford any of the items we hope that it is here to stay.
