‘Interior/Exterior' Covers Interdisciplinary Innovation

‘Interior/Exterior’ is the name of a grand exhibition at the German Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg which showcases the fascinating interaction between art and design.

‘Interior/Exterior’ covers the work of about 70 renowned artists and designers who have crossed over to create interior painting or interior design at some point in their careers.

The pieces in ‘Interior/Exterior’ range from the visions of Verner Panton’s ‘Phantasy Landscape Vision 2’ from 1970 to Francis Bacon’s painting of a ‘Sand Dune’ from 1983 and modern-day art installations like Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec’s ‘Clouds’ from 2002. These creations are all pictured above.

This exhibition is on until April 13, 2009.
