I love high-tech coffee machines that do all sorts of crazy things, but sometimes, simplicity is better as is the case with the Linje Espressomaker.
Designed by Øystein Helle Husby, the inspiration behind the Linje Espressomaker was to create a machine that stays true to Nordic designs. So the designers sculpted and sanded down poplar wood as the main source of material to create the espresso maker. More importantly, the designers wanted consumers to experience Nordic coffee through the experience of making it from the machine in addition to the drink itself.
