Linder's Punk Art Rocks Photomontage with Feminist Slant

British artist, musician and performer Linda Mulvey, whose art name is Linder, will be featured in a Sorcha Dallas Contemporary Art exhibition from April 15th to May, 2010. The title of the solo show is ‘King’s Ransom (Hybrid Tea)’ by Linder.

Linder’s punk art is marked by photomontages of naked glamour models merged with domestic appliances. Her composite-image technique draws from the Dada art movement, but her combination of photomontage and feminism has cut the cloth from which Punk is made.
