Musical Instruments brand Gretsch has released the G9500 Limited Edition Jim Dandy Acoustic Guitar in Nocturne Blue. The inspiration for this guitar came from the idea of a guitar enthusiast’s first guitar collectible, which is the shape of a Jim Dandy guitar that was named after Jim "Dandy" Mangrum, the lead singer of Black Oak Arkansas.
In terms of the material of the guitar, the fretboard is made of black walnut with the neck profile in a "C" shape. This guitar also contains vintage-inspired frets with Pearloid dot inlays. The body of the guitar is made of basswood and the tuning machines follow a 50s-era style design. In addition, there is a "G" graphic on the white-colored pickguard. The guitar is currently priced at $269.
