In order to increase the range of editing abilities on its popular photo editing software Lightroom, Adobe announced the introduction of its 'Advanced Color Grading' features.
The update provides users with greater flexibility, allowing them to make separate adjustments to a photo's highlights, shadows, and midtones. As The Verge explains, Adobe has also revised its split toning tool, but maintains the same color mixer that editors are used to. To make adjustments, users simply click and drag the color grading tool to the tone they like, which they can further adjust by changing the luminance, blending, and balance bars that are featured below the color grader.
The updated features will be available to Lightroom users on mobile, web, and desktop.
