In part two of the Jimmy Kimmel Lie Detective series, a little boy with a wild imagination gets confronted with the truth.
Kimmel and his sidekick, the Truth Fairy, hooks the "lie detector" to the kid and puts a helmet on him, which is actually a metal strainer. The questions roll out easily and the kid answers them all with a solid yes. When asked whether or not he had a girlfriend, he responded yes. As his replies start to get far-fetched, the helmet's sirens sounds, alarming the stunned kid.
Kimmel decides to put him on the spot and asks a few embarrassing questions. After telling Kimmel he flew to the moon, the kid is asked whether or not he picks his nose. He replies with a "no" but quickly corrects himself after the helmet alarms, and says "yes, sometimes."
