The first physical location for the headwear shop Lids' new ‘LidsHatDrop’ e-commerce concept has launched. The business recently introduced the ‘LidsHatDrop’ platform that provides unique and limited-edition headwear drops, the same selection that will be offered at the brand’s physical shops. The 950-square-foot boutique in Jamaica, Queens, New York, will also provide goods created in partnership with athletes and celebrities aimed toward the area's hat enthusiasts.
"Following the success of LidsHatDrop.com, we wanted to bring this concept to life and connect with local hat collectors within the community who have been loyal to the brand for years," said Britten Maughan, president of Lids.
More 'LidsHatDrop' retail locations are expected to open in the near future. The Queens, New York, location recently opened on November 18.
