The LG OLED Lounge during Frieze New York 2024 showcases the We Meet Again in New York presentation by Kim Whanki. It will be on display from May 1st to May 5th, highlighting five digital works by the artist across the LG Signature OLED M 4K TV.
It complements 27 original works that are on loan from the Whanki Museum along with personal items including photos, letters, and diaries from the artist. He is known for his dotted style that is detailed all over his work and it is inspired by nature. Whanki has been inspired by generations of abstract painters in Korea since he passed in 1974, including the works of Korean American Nam June Paik.
