In a collaboration between the technology division of M&C Saatchi Australia, Tricky Jigsaw and Lexus Australia, the Lexus RC F has been remodeled with a high-tech, heartbeat-mimicking paint. There is only one single car that has been made to reflect the human heartbeat through paint.
The 'Heartbeat Car' works by monitoring a driver's heartbeat and sends the frequency to a control board. There, a change takes place that emits light particles that engulf the exterior of the car through an electrical current. The end result is the illusion of a pulsating LED light show that mimics the driver's heartbeat in real time.
The exterior of the Lexus RC F glows with electro-luminescent paint and biometric technology. The ultimate goal was to show people how it feels to drive a Lexus. This paint highlights the emotional and physical relationship between a driver and their car.
