The Levitae House is a unique home that perches on top of a mountain to replicate the illusion that it is floating through its large volumes. It is designed by Alejandro Vazquez, showcasing high levels of complexity and detail throughout. The Levitae House seems to be floating whilst tapering off to thin volumes that balance with the natural surroundings.
It is located on the southern slope of La Paz in Mexico and it faces north. This is done on purpose to promise that there will be consistent views of the city. Certain areas of the home have been strategically oriented to have panoramic views. On the exterior, there is a character that is complex and modern simultaneously.
