The fashion industry has many times used their collective influence and power to raise AIDS/HIV awareness.
Last year Rihanna, Timbaland, Chicks on Speed, Good Charlotte, Henrik Vibskov, Jade Jagger, Katharine Hamnett, My Chemical Romance, Rufus Wainwright, Scissor Sisters, The Cardigans, Tiga and Ziggy Marley teamed up with H & M to create an HIV campaign.
And GAP joined RED to help prevent, care for and treat AIDS in Africa.
Levi’s will launch a similar tee shirt AIDS/HIV awareness campaign in their Brazilian Levi’s Stores called "69 com camisinha" on December 1st. Unlike other companies, Levi’s started their HIV awareness campaigning more than 25 years ago.
