"Our story begins with a chance conversation between Ida Horner founder of Ethnic Supplies and Ann McCarthy, a grandmother from Shepperton Middlesex who was already working on a project in South West Uganda," the non-profit organization writes on its 'About Us' page. Horner, of course, is a Ugandan born entrepreneur who inspired the project featured here, which began with a fundraiser.
