Legomatrix Recreates Bullet-Dodging Scene from the Matrix

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'The Matrix', a very talented group of camera savvy individuals at LegoMatrix created this awesome stop-motion Lego reproduction of one of the Matrix's most famous scenes. The group spent over 400 hours to produce this 44 second bullet-dodge video frame by frame sans Photoshop, and the result is fantastic.

To display how accurate their work is, this LegoMatrix video shows a side-by-side comparison with the original footage.

Implications - I'm most amazed with the LegoMatrix video's ability to emulate one of the agents dodging a slew of bullets from Neo. The multi-layered effect wouldn't be difficult to recreate utilizing the latest film technologies, but the LegoMatrix team was able to pull it off pretty darn close considering they're limited to stop-motion photography.
