The LEGO headquarters officially opened not long ago in Billund, Denmark and the architectural plan was completed by the Danish firm CF Møller Architects. Measuring 54,000 square meters, the building can house workspaces for 2,000 employees.
Staying true to the aesthetic of the company, the LEGO headquarters feature playful block-inspired design elements throughout. For example, the atrium of the building features a high ceiling. Suspended from it are three sizable lego blocks that feature LEGO images. The ceiling is also a playful nod to the Danish company's main product.
CF Møller Architects ensured that the block motif extends to every corner of the structure. From the exterior, for instance, one can deduce that the LEGO headquarters consists of eight interlocking blocks.
