Embodied is the AI and robotics company behind Moxie, a family friendly learning robot for kids to assist with cognitive development between the ages of six and nine. Moxie relies on machine learning and the SocialX platform to perceive and interact with the world around it, although kids will only experience fun and play-based learning.
To keep kids engaged, Moxie offers a new theme each week—like kindness, empathy or respect—along with tasks like drawing, breathing exercises, mindfulness and reading to support kids their entire lives. Through a parent app, caregivers can check in on a child's progress and limit usage if necessary.
As well as being able to learn a variety of kid-safe skills from Moxie, children can also learn new words thanks to a partnership with Encyclopedia Britannica and Merriam-Webster and the integration of Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary for Children.
