Rather than spending time holed up indoors practicing sets, sampling and mixing, why not learn to DJ by going away to camp?
Known as the "Godfather of Electronic Music" and a pioneer in the EDM music scene, Paul Oakenfold is now running a DJ Camp in order to pass on what he knows. The camp is stationed in Los Angeles and over the course of five days, attendees can expect to learn from some of the EDM industry's top talent—including producers, Grammy nominees, talent agents and music marketing experts.
Oakenfold himself found that for an aspiring DJ, it's not easy to figure out the path to take in order to get started. Through studio demonstrations, one-on-one sessions with an instructor and more, burgeoning DJs are able to walk away with the skills to perform with confidence and perhaps even become the next big musical sensation.
