‘Laser Cat’ is a public art project between Kevin O’Callaghan, Hungry Castle and ADC, which aims to get people to submit their art to a cat with laser eye beams, so he can project the creations around the world. The more art that is collected, the stronger Laser Cat grows. When the cat receives 100 creations like drawings, sculptures, or paintings, he will be able to project onto walls. When 1 million pieces of art are submitted to Laser cat, he will make projections onto the moon.
Currently, there have been over 1,000 submitted works of art, which gives him the power to project art onto buildings. Works of art can be submitted to Laser Cat until November 30th and "the biggest art show" will be held in April 2014 as part of the ADC Annual Awards and Festival of Art and Craft in Advertising and Design.
