The stark white of the monolithic L'And Vinyards Hotel walls could be described as minimalist decor, yet there's nothing simple and straightforward about the design of this building. Outwardly, it seems that architect Marcio Kogan of StudioMK27 chipped away at a massive outcrop in the landscape, cutting long, rigid and slanted lines across the top of every facade.
The asymmetry and abstraction of the structure expresses the project as a bold product of contemporary taste, with roots in the pristine industrial abodes of the middle of the 20th century. Inside of the L'And Vinyards Hotel there are references to such vintage features by means of the rich brown-based palette and through the furnishing with iconic modernist armchairs, tables and decorative accessories.
