Inclusive Wine Bars

Lady of the Grapes Boasts a Collection of Female-Produced Wines

Lady of the Grapes is a new Covenant Garden wine bar, restaurant and shop that celebrates women in the male-dominated wine industry. Owned by Carole Byron, the space offers up a wide range of products produced by women, all in the effort to show how hugely under-represented women are within the wine industry. Lady of the Grapes is currently seeking funding on Crowdfunder, to further the expansion of the space, and is hoping to raise £25,000.

Lady of the Grapes is expecting to have 29 covers and will feature a wine list with 80 wines, 15 of which will be available by the glass and all of which will be organic biodynamic or natural. The focus on this kind of wine comes directly from Byron, who has noted the rise of natural or biodynamic wines in recent years.
