The Väcka and Ditaly Partnered to Create the La Gazpacha Pizza

The La Gazpacha pizza has been created in collaboration between Väcka Cheese and Ditaly Pizzerias as a vegan-friendly menu item that's crafted with taste, texture and authenticity in mind.

The pizza starts off with dough fermented for 48-hours before being coated in sunflower seeds, golden flax seeds, golden sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and poppy seeds. The pizza is then topped with San Marzano D.O.P. tomato along with pickled gherkin slices, nera di Gaeta olive, semi-dried tomatoes, salt and pepper. The pizza is topped with two of Väcka’s most popular vegan cheeses including Mözza and Fraïs with Basil.

Head of R&D&I Estrella Hernández spoke on the La Gazpacha pizza saying, "We wanted to design a pizza that represented Ditaly, that was not only vegan in its ingredients, but that the added value of the final product would be delicious and attractive to vegans and non-vegans alike. We are very happy with the final result, it has been a pleasure to collaborate with a company with such strong values and with such a special sensibility as Väcka."
