Finnish architects Lassila Hirvilammi and Luonti have designed the stunning Kuokkala Church in Jyväskylä, Finland, which has a relatively low environmental impact. The church and separate steeple are fitted with natural materials that have no adverse effect on the church's surroundings.
The Kuokkala Church is a wooden structure supported by spruce lattice and outfitted with lime wood altar furniture and ash wood furnishings. The three-story building also contains a daycare center, meeting rooms and an office.
