American supermarket chain Kroger has teamed up with Instacart to launch 'Kroger Delivery Now,' an ultra-fast grocery delivery service that promises to drop off Kroger shoppers' orders in 30 minutes or less.
The new program will utilize Instacart's already existing online shopping platform, combining it with Kroger grocery stores located throughout the United States, which will function as fulfillment centers. All users have to do is visit the 'Kroger Delivery Now' website, locate a store near them, and begin choosing groceries from a selection of over 25,000 items. As part of the partnership, Instacart Express subscribers will receive 'Priority Delivery' for free on all Kroger orders over $10.
It shouldn't come as a surprise that a retailer as large as Kroger has decided to launch a grocery delivery service considering their massive rise in popularity during the pandemic.
