Pinkbox Doughnuts is just the latest brand to celebrate the 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants by debuting a limited-time food offering: the new Krabby Patty doughnut.
Inspired by the iconic Krabby Patty from the cartoon, Pinkbox Doughnuts' new doughnut creates the look and feel of a tasty burger. Each Krabby Patty doughnut starts with a sesame seed-covered glazed raised doughnut that's been cut in half to create to burger 'buns.' The inside of the doughnut is then filled with half a chocolate cake doughnut ‘patty’ in the center, piped yellow icing for 'cheese,' green icing for 'lettuce,' and a red drizzle for 'ketchup.' The Krabby Patty doughnut is even served in its own limited-edition SpongeBob box.
