Japanese designer Kouichi Okamoto of Kyouei Design has created liquid bookmarks by hand out of red silicon, resulting in pieces which resemble drops of blood. Each bookmark is handmade by the designer, so each bears a truly unique shape. The pieces come in a set of three in red, white and black. The clever, gooey liquid bookmarks by Kouichi Okamoto add a creative modern twist on a practical tool, the result of which infuses function and fashion.
Kouichi Okamoto has previously designed a liquid lamp for Kyouei Design, which utilizes the same silicon-pouring technique which makes the lamp seem as though it is bleeding or leaking liquid. The liquid bookmarks are available online through Kyouei Design.
