On the roads of Norway, one might have the chance to see a self-driving grocery delivery vehicle on the roads from online retailer 'Kolonial.no.' In Bærum, Norway, a demonstration recently took place that had the Norwegian Transport Minister, Ketil Solvik-Olsen, and the mayor of Bærum, Lisbeth Hammer Krog, enjoy a ride in the EZ10 vehicle.
The vehicle does not drive more than 40 kilometers per hour, which gives people on the streets more than enough time to read the vibrant message on the side of the vehicle: "I am full of food from the Internet." The introduction of this new vehicle makes it possible for customers to have food items delivered to their door or one of 30 pick-up points. For added convenience, they are also able to see the autonomous vehicle on its route.
