Klecksography by Olivier Valsecchi, is a series inspired by Rorschach ink blots. The project was born after the French photographer won the the Hasselblad Masters Award last year. He was subsequently asked by the camera-maker to create a photo series that represented the word 'evoke.' Considering that ink blots are a psychological test that encourage patients to find form in abstract patterns, he couldn't have picked a better theme.
Captured exclusively in black and white, Klecksography by Olivier Valsecchi is made up of human forms that mimic the symmetrical patterns of such images. It is important to note that although some of the formations taken on seem impossible, none of the images have been photoshopped. According to the photographer, it took up to 3 hours to capture each shot.
