Kitty Grace launched its Spring/Summer 2012 line at the Perth Fashion Week show. Now a growing Australian label, the brand teetered on a thin line between modesty and all things avant-garde. Many of the dresses showcased were futuristic, characterized by restrictive chokers and intense angular cuts. These impressive designs were only a part of the collection’s overall allure however, as the show was mostly stolen by purple and fire-red locks.
All of the models in the Kitty Grace launch sported slicked by hair, and while the sleek bun has taken the proverbial fashion cake, few designers have merged this style with highlighter hues. These flashy colors are seldom seen on catwalks, and have consequently opened the chic doors up to brazen hair design.
