This limited-edition Kikkoman bottle is slated to start hitting store shelves in the UK this month to get consumers thinking about the impending arrival of spring in a decidedly cheery way.
The packaging consists of the brand's recognizable bottle that's branded with the Kikkoman logo and accented by a floral motif that includes plum tree blossoms. These are paired with the mejiro bird front and center, which is an important pollinator in Japan for the aforementioned plum trees. The packaging is limited to 400,000 examples
General Manager at Kikkoman UK Bing-yu Lee spoke on the limited-edition Kikkoman bottle saying, "We’re delighted to be rolling out a new Kikkoman Soy Sauce bottle design. Scenes around harmony with our environment is symbolic of how Kikkoman works hand-in hand with other countries to produce our sustainably made and naturally brewed soy sauce. If the feedback from our past limited editions is anything to go by this new one will fly off the shelves."
