Armed with comfy chairs, a big screen, and easy-to-clean concrete floors, K9 Cinemas is a new movie theater that lets dog owners bring their four-legged friends. Located in Plano, Texas, the semi-permanent theater lets pet owners bring up to two dogs, as long as they take their canines for bathroom breaks and clean up after any mess they make. K9 Cinemas also requires all pooch patrons to be up-to-date on their shots and allows owners to submit veterinary records online or bring a copy to the box office.
The theater is currently only open on select weekends and is operated out of a private space. The theater will only be showing classic films, rather than new releases, and will offer treats for both humans and their pets.
