Google recently launched its Just a Line mobile art app as an all-new AR Experiment to enhance video content with augmented reality line drawings. While there are many social media apps that offer simplistic drawing tools, this new app from Google sets itself apart with dynamic animations and dimensions. Users may draw in a 3D space with a white marker and then press the record button in the app to truly bring the simplest of line drawings to life in a real-world setting.
Just a Line works on devices that support ARCore and Google is open-sourcing the code for the new AR drawing app so that developers may create their own inspiring ARCore projects from it.
At GDC 2018, highlighted its new AR Experiment app, alongside a range of other ARCore apps that will be coming to the Google Play Store.
