Using a multitude of materials in each creation, Julie Richey is able to create extraordinary designs and images. La Corrente, for example, is made out of pieces of marble, smalti, seashells and 24k gold. The detailing on the skirt is meant to resemble sea kelp moving with the current of the waters.
