Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts has designed a bracelet for Giorgio Armani to sell for World AIDS Day, the fashion house revealed on Tuesday.
The bohemian-style leather bracelets, which she showed the world during yesterday's appearance on Oprah, come in red for women and brown for men. The bracelet, which will retail for $175 for women's and $195 for men's will be available in stores Feb. 1., and has a “Tree of Life†design and inside carries the initials J.R.
"Julia has helped to create a beautiful accessory which will be a visible reminder of the part that we can all play in fighting AIDS in Africa," Armani said in a statement. The fashion house chose the materials and colours for the bracelet. It is the first time the Italian designer will work with another name on a product.
