Swedish design studio JOY Objects introduces its inaugural collection during this year's Stockholm Design Week. It is made up of three chair designs and boasts colorful hues. Each piece is made from medium-density fiberboard and aluminum materials.
It features bright colors throughout the series with orange and pink to blue and baby shades as well. Speaking about the latest collection, founder Frederik Paulsen ensured that color inclusion was necessary, stating that "Furniture is something we all live with [...] and like life, I want furniture to be fun and colorful." Every single piece is also designed to be sensitive to a Scandinavian design language that is carefully crafted. Paulsen emphasized the importance that good design should be accessible on a wider scale.
