Josh Silver's Adaptive Eyewear Can Be Adjusted for Individual Sight

Oxford Professor Joshua Silver invented a pair of eye glasses that nearly anyone can adjust to make their own prescription glasses. The Josh Silver Adaptive Eyewear glasses work by adjusting fluid sacs layered between two plastic lenses to change refractory properties. Syringes mounted on glasses control the amount of fluid allowed in the lens. Once the user has dialed the glasses in and can see, the water flow is blocked.

The Josh Silver Adaptive Eyewear non-profit is attempting to distribute 1 billion ‘Adlens’ glasses through humanitarian groups by 2020. Adaptive Eyewear has a FaceBook page and actively seeks fans and support.
