OK, I promised myself I would not write this up since I am extremely biased, but the ‘John Wall Dance’ has gotten too big for me to ignore. The freshman basketball player from the University of Kentucky did his version of a dance called ‘The Shizz’ when the season kicked off at the annual ‘Big Blue Madness’ in Lexington, KY. Since then, John Wall has established himself as the premier college basketball player in the country on one of the nation’s best teams.
His (and Kentucky’s) success has lead to a viral explosion of photoshopped versions of the ‘John Wall Dance,’ as well as countless videos of fans reenacting the crowd-pleaser all over the world. Celebs such as Courteney Cox, Drake, Kris Allen, and UK alumna Ashley Judd have all gotten in on the ‘John Wall Dance’ action.
Again, I am biased since I graduated from the school, but check out the attached pictures and videos and see why everyone loves doing the relentlessly entertaining ‘John Wall Dance.’
And one more thing… Go Cats!
