Joe Suzuki, a visual artist who's from Tokyo but currently working in Los Angeles, recently released a new series of paint splatter paintings that celebrate some of the most famous works from artists such as Jean Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and Andy Warhol.
Each of the paint splatter sculptures is displayed on simple varnished cement surface so that the monochrome colorways that comprise them really pop. In addition, this contrast ensures that the 3D textures are highlighted. In order to make the paint splatter aesthetic clear, Joe Suzuki shows either a can or bottle of the colored liquid above the sculpture itself, making it look as though the pop art designs were formed by way of chance.
