Joe Fig decided to turn his artistic gaze towards those who rarely become muses themselves: the artists. Their work may inspire individuals to pick up a paint brush or mold some clay, but not necessarily their own good looks. Joe Fig decided to change that by creating phenomenal dioramas starring such artists in their workspace.
From contemporary artists such as Ryan Mcginness to abstract expressionist Jackson Pollock, Joe Fig meticulously recreated them and their studios in miniature form. Incredibly detailed, it gives people an opportunity to appreciate all of their work on another level as well as through the eyes of an obvious fan.
Born and raised in Seaford, New York, Joe Fig may one day be the subject of another artist's project himself.
